Samurai Executive Leaders Guild Was a Huge Success

On October 27, 2010, the inaugural meeting of the Samurai Executive Leaders Guild was held Wednesday evening, October 27th, at Itasca Country Club.  There were 62 company executives in attendance.  Based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants, the event was a great success.

Jack Trytten, author of The Failure of Marketing, spoke about the key insights he has discovered while researching his latest book, The G Point, How to Turn Your Business into a Growth Machine.  Some companies become “growth machines” because they embrace certain key concepts that most companies ignore.  Jack outlined what these companies did differently and discussed case histories to illustrate his points.

After the presentation, roundtable discussions were facilitated, allowing the participants to discuss how they could implement these ideas in their own companies.  The entire group then shared the key takeaways from each discussion group.  The evening ended with informal networking and cocktails.
